What is a coat of arms and what purpose does it serve?

By studying the coats of arms of the castle's various owners, students are introduced to the science of heraldry: symbols, function, composition...

Inspired by the examples presented during the tour, they take part in a workshop to create their own coat of arms, reflecting the values they wish to embody.
