Between Paris and Versailles, dominating a loop of the Seine, the Chateau de Maisons was constructed in the 17th century by the architect François Mansart, while at the peak of his fame. The arrangement of the facades, harmony of the interior volumes and decoration of the ceremonial rooms reveal this man's architectural genius. From grand receptions, the richly-decorated function room welcomed famous guests: kings and princes, emperors and marshals, as well as writers and thinkers. The Chateau welcomes you during the day for meetings in small groups, assemblies or conferences but also for festive events as cocktail parties, dinners or private visits.
